VICIDIAL Call Center Suite

The VICIDIAL project is maintained by the VICIDIAL Group. This system was initially created to fill the need of a customer service group being able to call up clients efficiently and without using a predictive dialer that would potentially lose calls and alienate clients. Since then we have added the ability to do predictive dialing alongside ratio dialing and the traditional one-call-at-a-time dialing as well as the ability to take inbound calls and set up campaigns to do blended inbound and outbound at the same time.

This is a suite of programs that are designed to interact with the Asterisk Open-Source PBX Phone system at a client computer level to extend the functionality of your phone and system.

The suite of software is designed to work with an Asterisk system that has Zap(T1/E1/PSTN),IAX or SIP trunks and SIP/IAX/Zap phones.

The main application within the astGUIclient suite is the VICIDIAL call center system. This includes a predictive dialer (with it’s own real-time agent web-client application) that can be added to Asterisk and is highly configurable with detailed logging. VICIDIAL can dial predictively and can also can function as an ACD for inbound calls, as well as blending inbound and outbound calling, or for Closer/Verifier calls coming from VICIDIAL fronters and even allows for remote agents that may only have a phone.

The software suite also includes installation instructions, full English and Spanish as well as ten other language versions of the web-clients and admin pages.

This group of applications is designed to run on top of just about any version of Asterisk 1.2 and 1.4 so no messing around with the Asterisk source code is necessary. For more information see the system requirements. astGUIclient is also an Asterisk configuration utility, offering a basic web-based utility to configure phones, extensions, carrier trunks and DIDs.
